E-Bike Hiring - Practical Details

Booking your ride is simple. Just You can book in person at the Farcycles Bike Shop or give us a call on 01367 898068. Slots are available during opening hours 11-3pm.

As the Bike Shop is run by volunteers, bikes will not be available every day as our team have to be able to turn the bikes around each day and also manage the shop.

We thank you for your understanding!

To take a bike out from the bike shop, we ask for a small donation of £20 for each bike per session.

All proceeds go directly to supporting Farcycles’ community cycling projects.

We also request that you bring along a driving licence or passport as proof of identification.

Before taking out one of our bikes, you need to have completed our Waiver form.

We request that you bring a suitable cycling helmet as we can not release a bike unless you have one to wear. We also suggest comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for cycling

If you intend to be out for any length of time, please bring along a water bottle. The bikes have bottle cages fitted for suitably sized bottles.

Please, please ensure you have your mobile phone with you at all times, and GPS device (if you you plan to follow a digital route)
